To be precise it must be remembered that in some cases (not subject to the ordinary management of this website) the Authority can request news and information according to Art. 157 of the legislative decree n. 196/2003, to check on the processing of personal data. In these cases the reply is obligatory or there will be an administrative penalty.

Rights of the interested parties
The subjects to who the personal data is referred have the right at any moment to obtain the confirmation of the existence or not of this data and know the contents and the origin, to verify the exactness or to ask for the integration or updating, or the rectification (Art. 7 of the legislative decree n. 196/2003)
Under the same Article one has the right to ask for the cancellation, the transformation into an anonymous form or to block the processing of data against the law, as well as opposing in any case, for legitimate reasons, their processing.
